With a career rooted in jazz, blues, pop, and singer-songwriter music, Carrie combines the insight of a working artist with a passion for helping students discover their own authentic voice.
Carrie's honors include being named Top Charlotte Vocalist, receiving the NC Songwriter Co-Op Songwriter of the Year Award, and recognition as a Top 10 Finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest. As a recording artist and live performer, she has appeared in concert halls, theaters, festivals, and performance venues across the country. Her recordings reach tens of thousands of listeners each month on Spotify, reflecting an active career that continues to connect with audiences around the world. As a performer and recording artist, she understands the discipline, artistry, and confidence required to succeed on stage and in the studio.
Through her signature Integrated Vocal Artistry Method™, Carrie teaches far more than vocal technique. Students develop healthy, evidence-based singing through breath coordination, body awareness, and vocal science while also building confidence, overcoming physical and mental barriers, and discovering their unique artistic voice.
